Job summary

Check Point Software is seeking an experienced sales engineer to join the pre‑sales team. You will partner with the sales force to identify prospects, demonstrate the full security portfolio, and educate customers on how Check Point solutions mitigate threats across on‑premise and cloud environments.

Strong communication and presentation skills are essential for successful PoCs and RFI/RFP responses. You will work with customers to understand network architectures, design end‑to‑end security

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering and pre-sales experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Strong understanding of customer networks.
• Ability to design end-to-end security solutions.
• Certifications preferred: CCNP, CISSP, CCSA, CCSE.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to identify prospects.
• Demonstrate Check Point's portfolio to secure customer buy-in.
• Educate customers, prospects and partners on security challenges and solutions.
• Lead meetings to uncover problems and shape appropriate solutions.
• Address technical questions, share best practices, and manage PoCs.
• Respond to RFIs and RFPs with clear, actionable responses.
• Engage partners and customers on latest security technologies.
• Participate actively in cybersecurity events.

Job Description

You will be responsible for

• Work closely with the sales team to identify prospects
• Demonstrate our full portfolio of solutions that help keep organizations safe from threats and protect their operations and information
• Educate customers, prospects and partners on the diversity of technical, operational and business challenges many organizations face and how Check Point solutions can solve them
• Drive meetings with potential and existing customers to identify their problems and provide appropriate solutions
• Address technical questions, offer insight into best practices and manage Proof-of-Concepts
• Respond to RFI's & RFP's
• Engage and educate key partners and customers on the latest security technologies
• Active participation in cybersecurity events

Qualifications

What you bring to the table

• 8+ years of engineering and pre-sales experience
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of typical customers networks
• Ability to create an end-to-end security solution for a customer’s environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Relevant certifications highly preferred,1 e.g. CCNP / CISSP/ CCSA / CCSE
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship from an employer now or in the future
