Job summary

Prestige Staffing is seeking a Security Engineer to join a high‑impact financial services team in Addison, TX (Hybrid; can be remote). You will develop and run a world‑class security program, focusing on threat intelligence, penetration testing, red teaming, and breach simulations to protect critical assets and banking solutions.

The role requires 5+ years of hands‑on security engineering, strong SIEM and data security experience, and a track record of collaborating across IT and development

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 5+ years hands-on information security engineering experience.
  • 3+ years in data security, data protection, or similar roles.
  • Background working within or closely with financial institutions preferred.
  • Strong understanding of threat intelligence, penetration testing, red teaming, and breach simulations.
  • Ability to work through complex roadblocks and adapt to evolving challenges.
  • Experience with SIEM platforms, data masking, and security automation.
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and optimize logging infrastructure supporting SIEM and Security Operations teams.
  • Monitor and tune SIEM performance for accurate detection and alerts.
  • Implement and support identity and access management controls including MFA, SSO, federation, and PAM solutions.
  • Lead incident investigations and coordinate response efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal security standards.
  • Collaborate with application developers and IT teams to improve security workflows.
  • Conduct threat intelligence activities including penetration testing, red teaming, threat modeling, and breach simulations as needed.
  • Partner with teams to identify and resolve security vulnerabilities and roadblocks in a complex financial environment.
  • Support continuous improvement of security controls and capabilities.

Pay: $140,000 - $175,000 base salary with 20% bonus
