Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a design-focused security architect to design, maintain, and secure endpoint and network architectures across the enterprise. You will build tailored automations to enhance detection and response, while implementing engineering best practices and addressing production-level security matters.

You will maintain comprehensive technical documentation, participate in design reviews, mentor colleagues, and align with standards such as NIST CSF, PCI, SOC2, and HIPAA.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of network or endpoint security architecture and administration experience.
• Experience with macOS endpoint management and security in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with SIEM platforms and log analysis.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Design, maintain, and secure endpoint and network architectures
Build tailored security automations and tools to optimize detection and response capabilities

Requirements

• 3+ years of network or endpoint security architecture and administration experience
• Prior experience in IT roles such as network or systems administration
• Experience with macOS endpoint management and security in an enterprise environment
• Experience creating detailed documentation and architectural diagrams
• Experience with endpoint security technologies such as EDR, Privileged Access Management, and DLP
• Experience automating reporting and other tasks using security tool APIs and/or Python, JavaScript, Go, or Bash
• Experience with a broad range of technologies, operating systems, and networking concepts
• Strong knowledge of networks, compute architectures, and technology stacks
• Experience with SIEM platforms and log analysis tools
• Foundational knowledge of responsible use of AI and LLMs in security
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST CSF, PCI, SOC2, and HIPAA
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
