Job summary

Unifi Security is seeking individuals to join a growing team in Salt Lake City, UT, to oversee provisioning and access control for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. You will ensure proper authorization and secure entry into client facilities, with weekly pay for hourly roles and comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Eligible candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18, and able to obtain required credentials.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required per airport/state/customs requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee access control and screening for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Conduct random security inspections including body scans, bag checks, and ETD screenings.
• Patrol premises and respond to security inquiries and incidents.
• Prepare clear, concise incident and daily activity reports.
• Report incidents and suspicious activities to management.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies including fire and elevator issues.
• Communicate using radios and security equipment.
• Ensure safety and security tasks follow company standards and policies.

Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of provisioning and access control management for all individuals, including employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors-accessing client facilities. Ensures proper authorization and secure entry into buildings.

Job Duties:

• Access Control & Screening, which includes Inspection of identifications, vehicle decals, and screen visitors, couriers, and contractors before entry.
• Conduct random security inspections to employee body scans, bag checks, and ETD (Explosive Trace Detection) screenings.
• Patrol premises, respond to security-related inquiries, and document concerns from tenants, employees, and the public.
• Prepare clear and concise reports on security incidents and daily activities.
• Report security incidents and document criminal or suspicious activities, notifying management of incidents and emergencies.
• Response to building emergency alarms, including fire, elevator entrapments, and intercom alerts.
• Management and communication via radios and other security-related equipment.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards
• Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience and, capabilities expected for this position.

Security License Requirements:

• Security Guard Card (preferred)

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to constantly lift, move up, push, pull up to 70 lbs; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, & bend.

Working conditions:

• Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
• Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
