• Monitor access to the facility and direct guests, deliveries, and contractors to appropriate areas while helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor front desk communications, receive calls and inquiries, and promptly report security-related concerns or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Front Desk Driver in Portland, ME, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will help maintain a professional, secure environment while supporting daily operations. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in the job state. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM
• Tue 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM
• Wed 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM
• Thur 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
