Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Access Verification Driver for Rochester, NY. You will serve clients, conduct patrols, manage access control, and provide exceptional customer service while representing a caring, innovative company.

This full-time role in Rochester features a pay rate of $17.75 per hour and a daytime schedule. Prior customer service and access-control experience are preferred; a valid driver’s license is required for driving duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge handling experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21+ for armed roles) and eligible to work.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and enforce site security procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities and access points.
• Verify credentials and monitor restricted areas for security concerns.
• Complete daily activity reports and shift communications.
