Job summary

The Brig is seeking a Doorman to serve as the face of our restaurant. This part-time role focuses on providing outstanding guest service while ensuring the safety and security of the premises.

You will be courteous and professional at all times and work on Friday-Saturday evenings, with occasional extra shifts based on business needs. Responsibilities include greeting guests, checking IDs, addressing security concerns, assisting guests, reporting suspicious activity, and keeping the venue clean

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of local alcohol laws.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety and security protocols.
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

This role is expected to be courteous and professional at all times. We are looking for part-time help on Friday-Saturday evening/nights, with occasional extra shifts available, depending on business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Check all ID's of incoming guests and help identify potential issues early
• Ensure the safety and security of the premises by identifying and addressing any security threats and issues
• Provide assistance to guests as needed
• Report any suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities
• Keep the premises clean and tidy
