Bank of America is seeking a Data Architect to join the Data Architecture team within Global Information Security. This full-time, permanent role focuses on shaping trusted, governed, and reusable security data assets powering threat detection and compliance reporting across the enterprise.

The role requires 5+ years designing data architectures, strong modeling and governance skills, and hands-on SQL/Python in multi-source environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and implementing complex data architecture.
• Strong data modeling, governance, and security concepts.
• Experience with multi-source environments and CIM/OCSF.
• Hands-on with SQL, Python, and big data tooling.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to executives.

Responsibilities

• Data architecture strategy aligned with business objectives and CIM standards.
• Design and govern conceptual, logical, and physical data models for analytics and monitoring.
• Establish data contracts, mappings, metadata, lineage, and documentation.
• Advance data virtualization and pipeline strategies for secure data access.
• Drive security telemetry standardization and data consistency across platforms.
• Define real-time, batch, event-driven, and API-based integration patterns.
• Partner with governance, privacy, and data quality teams for compliance.
• Lead architecture reviews to implement enterprise data principles and reduce risk.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to strengthen data practices.
