Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Analytics.
• At least 2 years of global field experience with data pipelines (ETL/ELT, batch processing, real-time, complex event processing).
• Experience with relational databases in a data warehouse environment (MS SQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with massively parallel processing databases (Greenplum).
• Experience with large data ecosystems like Hadoop and cloud services (Spark, Hive, HDFS, Elastic).
• Experience with BI platforms that provide reports (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, Dataproc, etc.).
• Strong experience building stored procedures and tuning queries for performance.
• Excellent analytical/problem‑solving skills with ability to explain solutions.
• Ability to data mine, visualize, and model large data sets.
• Familiarity with data security domain desirable (e.g., tools and technology).
• Self‑driven, innovative, and able to work independently without supervision.
• Programming language skills a plus (Python, C#, Java, JavaScript, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Translate commercial requirements into reporting and metric solutions.
• Architect and build frameworks consisting of statistical pipelines to enable complex data curation and extraction requirements.
• Lead and set path for data analyst and security analysts.
• Handle multiple projects in parallel and meet client time‑sensitive requirements.
• Adapt to changing requirements, methodologies, and priorities.
• Understand complex data sets and derive insights to address customer needs and problems.
• Detect and examine data discrepancies/records accuracy issues and ensure data consistency and integrity.
• Examine data and metrics to detect underlying trends and patterns.
• Execute query tuning and optimization.
• Maintain customer relationships and expectations.
• Collaborate effectively, work closely within a coordinated team environment, and maintain composure while handling time‑sensitive deadlines or facing device issues.
• Work with Director and other data security professionals to outline strategy and roadmap to mature reporting system.
