Job summary

Centrus Energy Corp. is seeking a Security Support Specialist to help safeguard critical operations. You will review clearance documentation, assist applicants through access authorization, and capture digital fingerprints while maintaining accurate security records.

The role requires attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to work with multiple government databases. A pre-employment background check and drug test are required, and candidates must obtain and maintain a Q security

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficient computer operating skills, including working knowledge of database operations, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe to process records and generate reports, charts, and presentations.
• Experience with NRC/DOE or other regulating agency procedures, practices, policies and requirements.
• Associate degree in a technical or administrative field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with personnel security, access control, or badging/credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Review and process clearance documentation.
• Assist applicants through the access authorization process.
• Capture digital fingerprints and manage badge/visitor control activities.
• Maintain credentialing materials and equipment.
• Work with multiple security and government databases and provide guidance to personnel.
• Support the Security Manager with inspections and corrective actions.
