Apple Federal Credit Union is seeking a Security Specialist at our Fairfax, Virginia headquarters. You will support physical security, access control, incident response, emergency management, and continuity planning, coordinating with branches and external partners to protect members and staff.

Qualifications

• One to three years of similar or related security experience.
• High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work with all levels of management and staff.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented self-starter able to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical security audits and inspections of facilities.
• Manage access control and visitor registration.
• Investigate incidents and prepare incident reports.
• Support security and business continuity planning and testing.
• Produce security data and management reports.
• Maintain compliance with policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., BSA/AML, OFAC, privacy).
