Job summary

Pinkerton is seeking a Security Agent in New York, NY, to perform concierge-level security at client sites and events. The role includes de-escalation, incident reporting, and involvement in emergency response planning.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, NYPD experience, and an armed NY security license with concealed carry. Excellent communication, access control, and CCTV skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• NYPD experience required (active or recently retired).
• Armed NY security license and concealed carry license required.
• Concierge-level customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Represent Pinkerton’s values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
• Provide concierge-level security at client locations and events.
• Deescalate tense situations and individuals.
• Write thorough incident reports for incidents, occurrences, or variances.
• Conduct investigations and prepare investigative reports.
• Provide response services for emergencies and crisis planning.
• Transport clients to events or locations.
• Secure residential perimeters, review CCTV, manage access controls, and respond to alarms.
• Identify equipment deficiencies and escalation paths.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
