Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree or 5+ years in security/compliance, familiarity with NIST 800-53, DoD IL-4/5, IAM, and SIEM like Splunk, and hold an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, or related field OR 5+ years of security/compliance experience.
• Experience auditing security controls and implementing DoD/DoD policy compliance in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Knowledge of NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Experience with security automation and incident response.

Position Summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Security & Compliance Analyst to support USSOUTHCOM J26 ENHANCED DOMAIN AWARENESS task order. This role involves implementing, monitoring, and enforcing security policies, frameworks, and compliance controls across cloud-based and on-premises environments.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor, and enforce security policies, frameworks, and compliance controls across cloud-based and on-premises environments.
• Apply knowledge of NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, DoD IL-4/5 security policies, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Utilize strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM), security monitoring tools such as Splunk and SIEM solutions, zero-trust architecture, and vulnerability assessment frameworks.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, or a related field OR a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience in security and compliance roles.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting security audits, assessing system compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, and implementing security controls in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Experience with security automation, endpoint protection, and incident response processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
• AWS Certified Security - Specialty.
