Job summary

SOSi is seeking a Security & Compliance Analyst located in the Town of Florida, New York, to enhance mission-driven analytics for a DoD customer. The role involves monitoring Kubernetes deployments, conducting vulnerability scans, and preparing system security documentation to support compliance with various security standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, possess an active TS-SCI Clearance, and have a strong understanding of security monitoring and risk assessment methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, or related field, or five years equivalent experience.
• Knowledge to implement and monitor security policies.
• Experience with security automation and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Kubernetes and data lake deployments for compliance.
• Conduct vulnerability scans of deployed infrastructure.
• Prepare and update system security documentation.
• Enforce encryption and logging policies.
• Submit Security & Compliance Assessment Reports.
