Job summary

Hoplite Solutions LLC seeks a CNO Vulnerability Researcher in Columbia, MD to research and discover software vulnerabilities and lead projects when needed. You will reverse engineer software for security bypasses and help design, develop, and test kernel and user-land software.

Required skills include vulnerability research, reverse engineering with tools such as IdaPro, Ghidra, and WinDBG, plus Python/C/C++ or Assembly.

Qualifications

Experience in vulnerability research.
Experience in reverse engineering and common security research tools (e.g., IdaPro, Ghidra, Radare, Binary Ninja, SysInternals, GDB, WinDBG).
Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or Assembly (x86/x64).
CNO capability development experience.
Proficiency in low-level internals in Windows/Linux (and mobile).
Troubleshooting and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

Researches and discovers software vulnerabilities.
Reverse engineer software for security mechanism bypasses and lead projects when needed.
Assist in designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging of user land and kernel software and systems.
Maintain proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities, static and dynamic program analysis, network security, and encryption.
Communicate statuses with leadership and mentor staff.
