Job summary
A leading defense contractor in Tucson, Arizona is seeking candidates for a role involving functional and operational testing of electronic and mechanical production items. The ideal applicant will have at least three years of experience in relevant fields and a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates must possess the ability to work any shift and have the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance. This position is onsite, emphasizing troubleshooting and compliance with engineering specifications.
Qualifications
Three years of experience in functional electronic, electromechanical, and/or mechanical production items.
Experience with specialized testing in various laboratory and production environments.
Experience fabricating, assembling, diagnosing, and troubleshooting production items.
Responsibilities
Conduct functional and operational tests on production items.
Operate specialized test equipment to ensure compliance to specifications.
Ensure compliance with quality control methods and standards.
Skills
Ability to interpret engineering specifications
Experience in operational testing
Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting
Ability to work any designated shift
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED)
AAS in electronic technology or equivalent technical education
