Vibrint seeks a Software Engineer to develop and improve monitoring solutions for mission‑critical systems. You’ll build Zabbix templates, dashboards, and scripts, and support deployment across servers and infrastructure.

Expect collaboration with systems admins and network engineers on a cross‑contract team. A TS/SCI with polygraph is required, and US citizenship is essential. Position is on‑site in the Hanover, MD area.

Formación

• Proven Zabbix development, configuration, or template‑authoring experience.
• Software development or scripting in Python, Java, C#, or similar.
• Working knowledge of Linux environments and CLI tools.
• Experience troubleshooting apps, services, certificates, or system processes.
• Ability to collaborate with admins, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
• Education/experience combos: HS + 18 yrs or Bachelor's + 14 yrs.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, configure, and sustain Zabbix‑based monitoring for mission apps and infra.
• Create reusable Zabbix templates for hardware, certs, services, and apps.
• Design dashboards for visibility to systems and network teams.
• Develop scripts in Python, Java, C#, or similar languages.
• Assist with deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting monitoring agents.
• Integrate monitoring with Linux systems and workflows.
• Respond to Jira requests for coverage, dashboards, alerts, fixes.
• Document templates, procedures, and alert logic.
• Evaluate future monitoring tech and migrations.
