Job summary

InterImage seeks a Senior Computer and Information Research Scientist / Senior Systems Engineer to lead the design, development, integration, modernization, and sustainment of complex systems. This role demands strategic thinking, hands-on problem solving, and collaboration with executives to drive mission success.

The candidate will oversee technical leadership, analyze system requirements, and guide large programs with senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Advanced degree may be preferred.
• 8+ years of related professional systems engineering experience.
• Active US security clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Work on unusually complex technical problems and architect innovative system-level solutions.
• Apply extensive systems engineering experience to analyze requirements, processes, interfaces, and methodologies for total system integration.
• Lead or contribute to small engineering teams in planning, designing, and implementing large-scale programs.
• Support long-range strategic systems planning under consultative direction.
• Apply advanced engineering principles to determine courses of action for technical outcomes.
• Perform additional responsibilities in support of enterprise engineering and modernization.
