Job summary

Bowhead is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for the IDS TPSS at Webster Field in St Inigoes, MD. The role leads the development and implementation of advanced analytics to transform raw data into actionable insights using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software.

The position requires overseeing data mining, modeling, NLP, and ML to derive information from large datasets, guiding interpretation and reporting, and supporting strategic decisions while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience required; master's degree or bachelor's plus 4 years experience may substitute for a Master's.
• Proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and external contacts.

Responsibilities

• Oversees data mining, data modeling, NLP, and ML to extract/analyze information from large structured/unstructured datasets.
• Guides visualization, interpretation, and reporting of data findings for clear insights.
