RWD Consulting, LLC seeks an Medical Emergency Dispatcher to support Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The role requires handling emergency calls, determining appropriate responses, and coordinating with police, fire, and hospital units. Training includes 80 hours over the first two weeks.

The position is part-time with weekend shifts, and offers hourly compensation of $24.66 plus Health & Welfare benefits. Located in Bethesda, MD, on-site at the medical center.

Formación

• Knowledge of standardized computer operations.
• Ability to analyze information given over the telephone in emergency situations.
• Ability to communicate and interact orally with a variety of individuals in emergency situations.
• Knowledge of logs and reporting procedures for operator logging.

Responsabilidades

• Provides emergency communication reception and dispatching services.
• Determines the nature of the emergency and the appropriate response.
• Maintains liaison with scene and various agencies until incident termination.
• Monitors emergency radios and provides information to senior officials as requested.
• Prepares and maintains reports and records related to emergency responses.
