Job summary

Cymertek Corporation is seeking a Linux/Unix Systems Administrator in Reston, VA, to maintain and secure our Linux/Unix servers. The role involves system monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementing automation to improve performance and reliability.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade systems, enforce security, and document configurations. A TS/SCI Full Poly clearance is required as part of this federal contracting opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience with Linux/Unix systems
• Strong scripting in Bash/Perl
• Experience with server monitoring and backups
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP and DNS
• Security-minded with system hardening knowledge
