Job summary

System One seeks a Full Stack Developer to support a federal technology program in New Carrollton. The role involves building Java backend services and React UI, with API design and cloud-based delivery. An active IRS MBI clearance and IRS GFE are required; onsite or remote options may be available depending on client needs.

Ideal candidates will have Spring-based server work, frontend skills, and experience with DevOps tooling in an Agile setting to ensure secure, scalable software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in progress or completed; 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Active IRS MBI clearance and current IRS Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).
• Strong Java development experience with OO design and patterns.
• Hands-on with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA.
• Frontend experience with JavaScript/TypeScript/React; HTML/CSS.
• APIs design for frontend/backend integration.
• Cloud platforms, preferably AWS; containerization with Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• DevOps tools: Jenkins, SonarQube, AppScan, Nexus IQ, GitHub/GitHub Actions.
• Agile environment and strong communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java backend services and modern React applications.
