Job summary

2HB Incorporated in Annapolis Junction, MD is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to support its government customer. The role focuses on fast, reliable, and secure software deployments across HPC environments, coordinating complex configuration changes and updates while upholding security and compliance standards.

As Tier 3 escalation lead, you will diagnose and resolve infra issues with Operations & Maintenance partners, perform root cause analysis, and develop automated remediation

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux CLI and Linux tools.
• Experience with Ansible IaC and automation.
• Experience developing with Python to create Ansible modules.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, containerd, Podman).
• Experience deploying containerized services with Helm in Kubernetes.
• Experience with DevOps/GitOps and release pipelines.
• Proficiency with Git workflows (branching, tagging).
• Ability to author clear installation guides, troubleshooting run books, and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Tier 3 escalation to diagnose infrastructure issues.
• Orchestrate and manage complex configuration changes and software updates across production systems.
• Develop automated remediation strategies to improve stability and prevent recurrence.
• Ensure deployments meet security, compliance, and performance standards.
• Collaborate with Operations & Maintenance teams to resolve issues.
