Job summary

IntelliGenesis is seeking a data science oriented analyst to extract value from large datasets and transform insights into actionable recommendations. The role requires strong mathematical, statistical, and computer science foundations and experience with data processing and modeling.

The position emphasizes communicating results to non-technical stakeholders, working with diverse data states, and evaluating technical solutions in a security-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Degree must be in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, or Computer Science.
• A broader range of degrees will be considered if accompanied by a Certificate in Data Science from an accredited college/university.
• Relevant experience must be two of more of the following: design/implement ML, data science, analytical algorithms, programming in Python, statistical analysis, data management, data mining, data modeling, AI, software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Devise strategies for extracting meaning and value from large datasets.
• Make and communicate principled conclusions from data using math, stats, CS, and domain knowledge.
• Develop and implement qualitative and quantitative methods to characterize and assess large datasets in varied states of organization and quality.
• Translate mission needs and analytic questions into technical requirements for data analysis.
• Communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Evaluate competing technical solutions considering data collection, processing, and storage capabilities.
