Job summary

GCyber is seeking a Configuration Manager to support a federal IT modernization program in a secure, IL5/IL6 environment. You will establish disciplined baselines, release governance, and traceability across development through secure production.

You will coordinate cross-functional release activities with software, DevOps, cloud, data, test, cyber, IA, and ops teams, driving readiness reviews and auditable deployment evidence.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT II certification (Security+, CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP).
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Eight years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
• Experience leading configuration management, change control, deployment coordination, and baseline management for complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Own configuration management plans, release procedures, baselines and governance across development to secure production.
• Coordinate release planning across software, DevOps, cloud, data, test, cyber, IA, and operations teams.
• Facilitate configuration control boards, readiness reviews, go/no-go decisions, and retrospectives.
• Ensure release packages are complete, traceable, and supported by evidence and instructions.
• Maintain traceability across requirements, defects, risks, decisions, and changes using Jira/Confluence/Git.
