Job summary

North Point Technology is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support a geospatial intelligence and data management program serving national security missions in Herndon, VA. The role requires an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph.

You will design, implement, and monitor cloud solutions across PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS, using agile processes. Candidates should be skilled in OOP, cloud platforms, containers, CI/CD, and Linux, with a proactive mindset to solve complex

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required to start; must be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Experience building enterprise-level applications using OOP design patterns
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift)
• CI/CD implementation experience (GitLab CI or Jenkins)
• Linux system administration experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee cloud computing strategy including design, management, and monitoring of cloud apps.
• Deliver IT solutions across PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS models using agile processes.
• Analyze complex environments and design pragmatic cloud architectures.
• Collaborate across conceptual, logical, and physical designs; develop scripting solutions.
