Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a seasoned Business Analyst to support a large federal program. You will partner with government stakeholders to define functional requirements and translate them into actionable process maps.

The role emphasizes clear documentation, effective communication, and continuous improvement. You will work across remote, hybrid, and in‑office settings, leveraging Microsoft/Atlassian tools to produce polished content and analytics.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required and ability to obtain Government security clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, and/or design of information systems.
• Experience with phase-based and Agile delivery methods.
• Experience with Jira or other Agile tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and functional requirements into process maps and technical system requirements.
• Develop documentation including system diagrams, concepts of operations, and status reports.
• Create high-level briefings and communications materials for customers and executives.
• Identify opportunities for service delivery improvement and new technology implementation.
• Independently gather information to develop procedural manuals and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with government and team members to ensure clear, cohesive content.
