525 Technologies in Greensboro, NC seeks a reliable and detail-oriented Camera and Access Control Technician to provide support for security systems, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of CCTV/IP cameras and access control across multiple facilities.

You will work hands-on with low-voltage systems, read wiring diagrams, and collaborate with IT/security teams to address alerts; strong customer service and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with CCTV, IP cameras, and access control systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of Genetec Security Center and ExacqVision platforms is strongly preferred.
• Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, switches, connectivity).
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for security cameras (CCTV/IP) and access control systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment.
• Assist with new installations, including wiring, device setup, and system configuration.
• Work with IT/security teams to address system alerts and performance issues.
• Maintain accurate records of service, repairs, and installations. Ensure compliance with safety and security standards.
