Qualifications

• Strong understanding of security concepts, frameworks, and compliance standards.
• Expertise in incident response processes (triage, investigation, remediation).
• Advanced knowledge of APIs and integrating SOAR with security tools.

Responsibilities

• Create a clear automation process for the customer’s SOC with the technical lead.
• Share expertise on automation best practices and playbook design.
• Assist the customer with connecting security tooling to Cortex XSIAM via Cortex Marketplace.
• Create playbooks reflecting design briefs and customer requirements.
• Demonstrate playbooks and explain tasks performed.
• Explain and demonstrate integration value and provide configuration guidance.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure product adoption and produce SIEM documentation.
• Travel to customer meetings/workshops up to 10%.

Cloud & AI Automation Engineer – Cortex XSIAM

Entelligence is seeking a Cloud & AI Automation Engineer to support clients on Cortex XSIAM engagements. The successful candidate must be able to work in a cross-functional environment and interact with representatives from Entelligence and the end-user. The Consultant will be responsible for automating SOC processes to improve the efficiency and accuracy of alert handling. Working closely with the technical lead, you will ensure that the playbooks created match customer requirements and adhere to best practices. You will share your knowledge and expertise during the design phase, ensuring the playbooks created are as concise and effective as possible, while interacting directly with the client to guide and suggest integrations that better serve their success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work alongside the technical lead to create a clear automation process for the customer’s SOC
• Share expertise around automation best practices and playbook design
• Assist the customer with connecting their security tooling to Cortex XSIAM, utilizing the Cortex Marketplace
• Create playbooks that reflect the design brief and customer requirements
• Demonstrate playbooks when required, explaining the various tasks that occur
• Explain and demonstrate the value of integrations, offering support and guidance around configuration
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure product adoption
• Create technical documentation detailing SIEM aspects of the engagement
• Travel to customer meetings and workshops as needed (10%)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 6+ years of deploying and integrating SOAR platforms in enterprise to large enterprise environments
• Ability to define, create, and automate SOC processes through the use of playbooks
• Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript to develop advanced custom integrations and automations for use in playbooks
• Strong understanding of security concepts, frameworks, and compliance standards, with the ability to provide strategic guidance and recommendations
• Expertise in incident response processes, including triage, investigation, and remediation
• Advanced knowledge of APIs and the ability to integrate SOAR with diverse security tools and infrastructure components
• Ability to read, understand, and create technical design documentation
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally
• Fluent English is a requirement – any additional language is a plus
• Relevant bachelor’s degree or industry-recognized qualifications
