Job summary

Dunbar Security Solutions in Pooler, GA, seeks an Assistant Account Manager – Security Operations to support daily security officer operations at a client site. You will liaise with the client, support the Account Manager, and collaborate with the Branch Manager, sales team, and headquarters.

The role requires managing shift activities, recruiting and developing officers, maintaining site post orders, and building client relationships.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in military police, law enforcement, corrections, security, or a related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and reliable transportation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Ability to obtain first aid and CPR certification.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable law.

Responsibilities

• Guide and supervise shift supervisors, security officers, and site activities.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop officers, and handle disciplinary action for the assigned team.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of site requirements and keep post orders current, accessible, and followed.
• Build strong relationships with client representatives, resolve issues, perform site inspections, and recommend security improvements.
• Oversee scheduling and officer assignments.
• Confirm all officers are properly uniformed and equipped.
• Manage the site fleet vehicle, including maintenance schedules, logbooks, inspections, driving records, and DOT certifications.
• Conduct random site inspections and keep logs of supervisor visits, officer inspections, client contacts, and follow-up actions.
• Work with the Branch Manager to maintain operational and expense budgets.
• Fill temporary openings or provide on-site supervision as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
