Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in Raleigh, NC seeks a Senior Security Architect to design, develop, and maintain enterprise security architecture blueprints, standards, and automation capabilities aligned with business strategy, risk management, and regulatory requirements.

You will implement Security Architecture as Code, review AI-driven recommendations, and apply AWS cloud security expertise to craft secure, scalable patterns and automated controls across delivery pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 10+ years in enterprise architecture or related technology design roles.
• Deep knowledge of architecture frameworks, principles and best practices.
• Proficient modeling tools and techniques for system and application architecture.
• Extensive regulatory compliance and risk management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated security architecture blueprints and reference architectures.
• Govern AI-generated architecture recommendations for accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and maintain Security Architecture as Code capabilities integrated into delivery workflows.
• Translate policies into machine-readable logic and automate compliance checks.
• Apply hands-on AWS cloud security expertise to design secure patterns using IaC.
• Collaborate with security, solution, and risk teams to embed security in solutions.
• Develop standards, templates, and serve as SME on security architecture and AI-enabled automation.
