Job summary

ThyssenKrupp Materials NA, Inc. is seeking a Security Architect to design and advance enterprise security across cloud, applications, and infrastructure, with a focus on Microsoft GCC-High and Azure Government.

You will partner with IT, engineering, and leadership to embed security‑by‑design and strengthen CMMC/ITAR compliance. The role requires leading security initiatives, threat modeling, secure SDLC, and incident response, while translating business requirements into scalable security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in information security with hands-on security architecture or app security.
• Experience securing Microsoft 365 GCC‑High and Azure Gov environments.
• Proven skills in cloud security, IAM, app security, and incident response.
• Experience in regulated environments (CMMC, ITAR, DFARS).

Responsibilities

• Design and govern secure architectures across cloud, identity, apps, and data.
• Lead application security initiatives including threat modeling and secure SDLC.
• Support CMMC 2.0 Level 2+ readiness and audit activities.
• Architect and operate security tools in GCC High/Azure Gov (Defender, Sentinel, Purview).
• Provide senior guidance during security incidents and post‑incident remediation.
