Job summary

Fluidstack is building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI and is seeking a security engineer to own the attack surface across frontier compute. You will secure model weights, training environments, interconnects, and multi-tenant boundaries while shaping reference architectures and security standards.

You will design defensible environments, run security design reviews, and translate research into practical architectures that engineers implement at scale.

Qualifications

• Secured AI/ML/HPC infrastructure with high-value assets.
• Expertise in isolating hardware, firmware, hypervisor, kernel, containers and network fabrics.
• Understanding AI compute infra as a system and where security breaks assumptions.
• Proven work in systems or ML security and ability to turn research into architecture.
• Ability to defend design decisions in reviews and iterate when needed.
• Bonus: experience with confidential computing and attestation depth.

Responsibilities

• Own the attack surface unique to frontier compute: custody, training env isolation, accelerators and interconnect security, multi-tenant boundaries.
• Design reference architectures and standards to keep design and build moving fast.
• Treat workloads as part of the threat model and architect defensible environments.
• Lead security design reviews for training and inference systems from bare metal to storage.
• Track emerging frontier compute components and prepare architecture beforehand.
