Job summary

Temple University’s Information Technology Services Department is seeking an experienced Security Architect to design, build, test, and implement secure technology solutions across the University's IT environment. The role interfaces with infrastructure, networks, cloud, and application teams to strengthen the security posture.

The ideal candidate has a strong hands-on background in enterprise IT security, cloud technologies, and architecture, with at least 5 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• At least 5 years of progressive IT and cybersecurity experience
• Experience with Windows, Linux/Unix networking, firewalls, VPN, segmentation, DNS, wireless, and network security
• Experience with identity and access management, including Active Directory/LDAP, SSO, SAML, and authentication technologies

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and implement secure technology solutions across Temple University's IT environment
• Assess existing technology and security architectures for risks and weaknesses
• Collaborate with ITS and Schools/Colleges to architect enterprise solutions meeting security, privacy, and business requirements
