Job summary

Lambda is seeking a Staff Security Architect to shape data protection and platform security for our AI infrastructure. You will define secure-by-default patterns across GPU clusters, multi-cloud control planes, and end-to-end data lifecycles, reporting to the CISO.

You’ll lead DLP, encryption, KMS/HSM, confidential computing, and tenant isolation, mentoring engineers and aligning security with product roadmaps in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of total engineering experience
• 5+ years in security architecture or data protection
• Experience designing multi-tenant platform security
• Proven prototyping skills in Python or Go
• Experience with threat modeling methods (STRIDE/PASTA)

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end data protection strategy
• Define data lifecycle security controls for training data and model artifacts
• Develop confidential computing architectures and envelope encryption
• Establish zero-trust data access policies
