Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a senior OT/IoT security professional to design and maintain secure architectures for OT/IoT environments in Austin, TX. You will assess risks across ICS, SCADA, and IoT, and drive implementation of segmentation to minimize exposure.

You will partner with engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams to embed security into device onboarding, firmware updates, and lifecycle management, while evaluating technologies such as IDS, gateways, and encryption.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cybersecurity, including 3+ years in OT/IoT.
• Strong understanding of ICSS/SCADA, industrial protocols and IoT standards (MQTT, CoAP).
• Experience with OT network segmentation and Zero Trust.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain OT/IoT security architecture aligned with enterprise standards and regulations.

• Experience with OT network segmentation and Zero Trust.


• Familiarity with OT/IoT security tools like IDS, asset inventory, and secure remote access.


• Hands‑on background in OT/IoT risk assessments and vulnerability management.


• Preferred certifications: CISSP, GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert.


• Proven ability to lead and drive security projects independently.


• Knowledge of OT monitoring tools, IoT platforms, and configuration management.
