Job summary

Tommy's Express, LLC is seeking a Security and Systems Administrator who loves staying one step ahead. You'll own our Microsoft security stack (Defender, Entra ID, Intune and M365), lead PCI compliance and keep team members secure and supported across a fast-growing nationwide brand.

If you bring cybersecurity certifications, sharp judgment and a drive to find gaps and fill them, we'd love to meet you. This is a full-time role based in our Michigan/Nationwide operations.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent formal training/certifications in cybersecurity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to collaborate across departments.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• High integrity with urgency and results-oriented work style.
• Proven ability to identify gaps and drive security improvements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts from Defender, Entra ID, Intune and other tools.
• Establish and maintain cybersecurity infrastructure company-wide.
• Review sign-in activity, audit logs, endpoint activity and threat intelligence.
• Maintain M365 security controls for conditional access, MFA and identity protection.
• Maintain Microsoft Intune for device and app security.
• Perform scans and audits for PCI compliance, deliver documentation and manage audits.
• Build, maintain, and deliver training materials for the team.
• Provide general technical support and troubleshooting to team members.
• Administer user accounts, groups, permissions, and roles.
• Deploy and manage workstations; lead security projects across departments.
• Other duties as assigned; duties may change at any time.

Position Responsibilities:

Position Qualifications & Candidate Attributes:

• Advanced degree or equivalent formal training/certifications and experience required, specifically in cybersecurity (CompTIA Cybersecurity, Comp TIA SecurityX, Microsoft Security Fundamentals, Microsoft Security Expert, Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Process-oriented and strong collaborator with ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and across various departments
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask and prioritize workload
• Highly adaptable with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; ability to exercise good judgment and make sound data-backed decisions

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This job operates in a professional office environment. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, handhelds, printers and operates primarily indoors with limited to no travel expectation.

To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, team member must be able to:

• Work and commute in all weather conditions
• Able to effectively communicate, listen, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself and exchange information
• Able to walk, bend, twist, turn, stoop, climb steps, reach with hands, use hands to fingers
• Work in a fast-paced environment where they will often be multitasking
• Move about inside the office to access standard office equipment
• Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as keyboard, copy machine and printer
• Remain in a stationary position 50%+ of the time, alternating between sitting and standing
• Ability to move and lift up to 30 pounds
• Drive between company locations and/or vendors or suppliers as needed while on job
