Security and Fire Systems Integrator Engineer

Benchmark Security Installations Ltd are in search of a security and fire systems integrator.

The ideal candidate must have great communication skills complete with excellent problem solving abilities. You must be a strong team player.

The successful candidate will be involved in the installation and commissioning of a range of security systems. You will have a strong understanding of a range of security products including access control.

The candidate must have a proven record in the ability to understand problems and issues allowing delivery of results in an efficient and timely manner. They must be capable of managing large scale integrated installations for digital CCTV and client/server access control. Large scale integrated installation of offsite monitored CCTV and intruder alarm systems.

The Installation of integrated security systems to include fire, access control, CCTV, nurse call and voice evacuation systems.

Systems Integration and Product Knowledge

Design, Installing and Commissioning of integrated security systems.

CCTV and Public Address Systems.

Hikvision, Bosch, Pelco, Analytics Systems, Axis, Milestone, Honeywell, Samsung, Toa, External Detection sensors including Redwall, GJD and Pulnix Beams.

Access Control.

Salto, Paxton, TDSI, Honeywell Win-Pak

Intruder Alarm Systems.

Honeywell Galaxy, Texecom, Pyronix’s, Risco, Menvier, Scantronic.

Fire Alarm and Nurse Call Systems.

Intercoms Systems.

The candidate must have experience of multiple communications protocols utilising LAN / WAN and POE, Use of servers and networking with some knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (2003, 2008, Windows XP, Windows 7 Windows 10). Experience with a variety of switches and routers, wireless extenders, some experience with SQL, XML, MS Office.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years installation experience
• Full UK driving license - company vehicle provided
