Tanner Health is seeking an IT Security Analyst to establish and enforce controls protecting computer assets across the organization. You'll work with cross-functional teams to implement security processes and support disaster preparedness.
You will also help facilitate audits, monitor configurations, and contribute to a secure IT environment by applying best practices in vulnerability and incident management.
The IT Security Analyst will establish and enforce system controls to ensure the protection of computer assets. As a member of the security team, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security processes, support disaster preparedness, facilitate audit reviews and monitor security configurations.
Associate Degree
One year of related experience. Requires working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.
Driver’s License
Associates degree in Computer Science MIS field and one year of technical experience. Will accept 4 years of experience in IT Security instead of a degree.
Preferred – Certification in IT Security and or networking field
Organized, accurate, good knowledge of English grammar and spelling.
Ability to create technical procedural documentation.
Knowledge of IT infrastructure, change management methodologies, problem-solving methodology.
Minimum of 1-year experience in these areas: Log Management, Patch Management, Vulnerability Management, Virtual Machine Security (Citrix, others), Security Architecture, Policies & Standards, Risk Management, Incident Handling and Response, Information Classification.
Proven ability to troubleshoot many facets of network layers and components.
Basic knowledge level of firewall technology.
Basic knowledge level of IDS and IPS systems.
Basic knowledge level of virus protection & content filtering technology.
Self-starter and quick learner requiring minimal ramp-up.
Neat, pleasant demeanor, confident personality.
