Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to serve at a customer site in Chantilly, VA. You will interface with Government agencies and industry partners to obtain, process, verify, and disseminate personnel security information for USG review.

The role requires supporting Case Analysts and Adjudicators and reviewing Personal History Statements for completeness. You will maintain accurate personnel data, learn multiple databases, and prepare LOAs for ISPs while

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in intelligence analysis.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
• Location at customer site (Chantilly, VA).

Responsibilities

• Interface between Government agencies and industry partners to obtain, process, verify, and disseminate personnel security information for USG review.
• Provide accurate operational and administrative support to Case Analysts and Adjudicators.
• Review personal history statements and documents for completeness for review and approval by the USG.
• Maintain accurate personnel data in all files.
• Learn databases such as Talon, Scattered Castles, DPRIS, SAVE, JPAS, DISS, State, CVS and more.
• Complete LOAs for Investigative Service Providers (ISPs) highlighting follow-up areas.
• Keep daily metrics of work and notify management of noteworthy cases.
• Provide QA reviews of background investigation reports per Federal Investigative Standards and SEAD 4.

Intelligence Analyst

• Interface between Government agencies and industrial partners for obtaining, processing, verifying, and disseminating personnel security information and access to programs, for review and approval by the USG
• Provide accurate and timely operational and administrative support to Case Analysts and Adjudicators
• Review individual personal history statements and other documents for completeness, for review and approval by the USG
• Maintain accurate personnel data in all files
• Update the Talon database
• Maintain confidentiality of assets and information pertaining to personnel security
• Learn various databases in order to perform research tasks in support of investigations and Continuous Evaluation, such as Talon, Scattered Castles, DPRIS, SAVE, JPAS, DISS, State, CVS and other applicable databases during performance of the contract
• Complete Letters of Assignments (LOAs) for Investigative Service Providers (ISPs), highlighting areas of concern in which investigators should follow-up on
• Keep daily metrics of work completed, to include notification of management on noteworthy cases
• Provide quality assurance reviews of background investigation reports and are required to analyze cases pursuant to Federal Investigative Standards and Security Executive Agent Directive 4 (SEAD 4) guidelines
• Assist with scanning/uploading of background investigation reports, and other case related products, during the course of their job duties, to assist with the enterprise initiative of live file digitization
• Assist with tracking of priority cases, as requested by management
• Assist with administrative support for PSD to ensure background investigations are completed within Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) timelines and be functional with Microsoft Office products
• Assist with conducting National Agency Checks (NACs) from applicable databases and provide accurate NAC reports for each file
• Assist with fielding daily inquiries from customers and stakeholders, utilizing strong customer service skills, judgement and tact
