Job summary

ThreatLocker seeks a Security Analyst LV.1 to protect client and internal systems against evolving cyber threats. The role focuses on log analysis, alert handling, and delivering threat briefings to customers from an Orlando base.

The candidate will investigate using big data analytics, communicate results clearly, and manage ThreatLockerDetect incidents end-to-end while staying current on new attacker techniques.

Qualifications

• CompTIA Security+ certification (required).
• CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA CYSA+ (preferred).
• Security Blue Team Level 1 (preferred).
• Proficiency with SIEM systems and threat hunting concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Defend client and internal systems from evolving cyber threats.
• Analyze logs and respond to alerts; classify suspicious activity.
• Manage alert queues and provide detailed threat briefings to customers.
• Oversee end-to-end lifecycle of ThreatLockerDetect incidents: detection, investigation, triage, response.
• Stay informed on emerging threats and mitigation techniques.
