This is a 100% on-site position with no remote-work flexibility.

Saturday and Sunday evening shifts are a mandatory part of the schedule after training.

Contract Duration: 1 Year

Local candidate only and ability to work fully on-site in Blythewood, SC.

Position Overview

Client is seeking an Entry-Level Security Analyst to join its expanding security team. This position will support efforts to strengthen the security posture , protect sensitive citizen information, and maintain the integrity of motor vehicle licensing and titling systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career IT professional with a foundation in computer, server, or network administration who is interested in developing a career in cybersecurity. The selected candidate will receive training and work closely with experienced security professionals across threat intelligence, threat hunting, incident response, vulnerability management, endpoint security, and other cybersecurity functions.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Understanding of fundamental cybersecurity concepts and processes.
• Understanding of basic computer and networking concepts.
• Basic server or network administration knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a mid-sized security team.
• Willingness and ability to work Saturday and Sunday evening shifts after training.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in an IT security-focused role.
• 1+ year of server or network administration experience.
• Experience with SIEM platforms and endpoint security tools.
• Experience with PowerShell, Group Policy, and endpoint management.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of cloud security concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Certifications are not required. Candidates with any of the following are encouraged to apply:
