Location and Travel

Location: Hybrid - Beverly Hills, CA (3 days in office / 2 days remote)

Travel: Initial training in Germany after hire, plus 3–4 trips to Germany per year

About the Role

We're seeking a Security Analyst to partner closely with development and product teams to ensure the secure operation of our global ticketing platform. In this hands‑on role you’ll actively support the implementation of security requirements, monitor security events, and strengthen our overall security posture. If you’re passionate about cybersecurity and enjoy analytical, investigative work, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative, international environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Detect, analyze, and classify security incidents in collaboration with operational and development teams
  • Conduct ongoing analysis and evaluation of threats from cyberattacks and define appropriate countermeasures
  • Perform proactive and reactive research on emerging threats and IT vulnerabilities, including categorization and documentation
  • Plan and execute vulnerability scans; evaluate and document results using JIRA
  • Participate in and support cyber forensic investigations as needed
  • Monitor security events using SIEM and security monitoring tools
  • Provide regular reporting on identified vulnerabilities, including root cause analysis and proposed preventive measures
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for IT security and cybersecurity questions
  • Offer technical consultation to internal teams on the design and implementation of additional security measures
  • Support compliance with security policies, controls, and procedures (PCI‑DSS, SOC2, GDPR, ISO 27001)
  • Assist with internal and external security audits
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional and cross‑cultural teams across multiple continents
  • Participate in rotating on‑call schedule for security escalations
What You Bring
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or a security‑focused role
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT Security, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex security events and data
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools, SIEM platforms, and security monitoring
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance requirements (PCI‑DSS, SOC2, GDPR, ISO 27001)
  • Familiarity with JIRA & Tenable for vulnerability tracking and remediation
  • Understanding of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and security best practices
  • Basic scripting skills (Python or Bash) for security automation
  • Structured, analytical, and process‑driven approach to problem‑solving
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills (German is a plus)
  • Independent working style combined with strong team collaboration abilities
  • High level of initiative, assertiveness, and conflict‑resolution skills
  • Genuine passion for IT security and staying current with emerging threats and technologies
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally
Preferred Qualifications
  • Security certifications (Security+, CySA+, CEH, OSCP, CISSP or equivalent)
  • Experience with cloud security (AWS)
  • Knowledge of incident response and forensic investigation techniques
