Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Corporate Security Ambassador at our San Francisco location. You will monitor premises, patrol areas, document incidents, and respond promptly to threats while ensuring top-notch visitor management and access control.

A focus on customer service and vigilance is essential. The ideal candidate holds a BSIS Guard Card, has at least 1 year of security experience, and can produce HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and complete 32hr BSIS trainings.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of security experience preferred.
• Strong report writing skills required.
• Familiarity with access control procedures.
• Excellent customer service and concentration skills.
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement background a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to ensure security and safety.
• Conduct patrols on foot or in a vehicle and observe for suspicious activity.
• Document incidents with detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or threats.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities.
• Analyze security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security.
• Coordinate with law enforcement during emergencies.
• Protect individuals and property at the site.

What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you patrol the site. Tell us about your strong observation skills with attention to detail.

As a Security Ambassador, you will be the person spotting threats or hazards before they elevate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

What's in it for you:

• Site Location: San Francisco, CA
• Schedule(s): Full-Time, 40 Hours Per Week
  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM
• Competitive hourly wage of $26.00 per Hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Responsibilities of a Security Officer - Surveillance

• Monitor the premises to ensure security
• Conduct patrols, on foot or in a company vehicle, to spot any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications for Security Officer - Surveillance

• You have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Must have at least 1 year of security experience
• Must have strong report writing skills
• Must be familiar with access control procedures
• High level of customer service skills / experience
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience - even better!
