Job summary

Samaritan Health Services seeks a qualified candidate for an Emergency Support role at Samaritan Medical Center. The position supports patient care in the emergency setting, requiring vigilance and calm communication with diverse age groups.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic Behavior Management training, and prefer 1 year in related fields; BLS certification is required or to be obtained within 3 months. Evening, 12-hour shifts, with a 72-hour per pay period schedule.

• One year experience in either law enforcement, emergency medical services, or equivalent position utilizing Behavior Management preferred.
• Good organizational, prioritization and communication skills.
• Must beself motivated.
• Ability to intervene in potentially violent situations.
• Must demonstrate ability to effectively communicate and interact in a method that is appropriate for the age group to which the service is provided.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months.
