Base pay range

$30.00/hr - $35.00/hr

US Citizen or GC Holders only

Must be on our W2- No C2C

Fully remote role, but must work 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central Time, regardless of location

Long term, ongoing contract position

No on-call responsibilities are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform user account and object-level security administration for all platforms and applicable applications. Platforms include Active Directory, Exchange, Unix, and Oracle. Applications include SaaS (Software as a Service), Cloud infrastructure, and mobility solutions.
  • Fulfill access tickets and handle a high volume of repetitive tasks, especially supporting "My Access" as the team transitions from manual processes to automation.
  • Analyze and provision high volumes of access requests in a timely manner.
  • Perform user account administration for IT tier-one projects.
  • Document and maintain policies and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot security issues and resolve or escalate as needed.
  • Analyze audit reports and escalate potential problems.
  • Maintain and document up-to-date knowledge of procedures and policies used to perform job duties.
  • Team size: 9 FTEs and 5 contractors (includes 1 lead, 2 senior-level, and several base-level security administrators).
  • The team manages a high workload volume and is often pulled in multiple directions.
  • This role is being added to help alleviate the team’s workload, with the opportunity to grow into additional responsibilities over time.
  • You’ll begin with repetitive, ticket-based tasks, but additional work may be available depending on performance.
  • This role will receive hands-on training and be paired with a “buddy” to support onboarding and development.
  • You’re not expected to know everything on day one—we’re looking for someone open to learning and growing in the role.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 2+ years of related experience.
  • Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP, with general IT knowledge and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to work on small to large, moderately complex assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Commitment to incorporating security best practices in daily tasks.

  • Experience with:
  • Windows Active Directory
  • Microsoft Exchange account administration
  • AS/400 and Unix account management
  • Scripting knowledge (e.g., VBScript, PowerShell).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
