Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Account Manager to drive daily security operations and ensure the safety of people and places you protect. You will lead and motivate a team of security officers and supervisors, schedule shifts with AI-powered tools, and maintain strong client relationships to deliver exceptional service.

Minimum of five years in security management is required, with prior law enforcement or military experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years in business operations, security management, or supervising teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in leading and developing a dynamic team while building positive client relationships.
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness, physical security protocols, risk assessments, and law enforcement coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling: Leverage AI-powered technology to schedule security officers while meeting client contract hours and minimizing unbilled overtime.
• Lead and develop security teams: Hire, coach and manage officers and supervisors, overseeing payroll, performance, and employee relations.
• Enhance client relationships: Serve as primary contact for clients, ensuring high-quality service that protects people and property.
• Handle security incidents and emergencies: Respond to escalated issues, coordinating with clients and internal teams.
• Direct compliance and security operational excellence: Oversee training, safety, site operational standards, and inventories.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage scheduling: Leverage AI‑powered technology to effectively schedule security officers, meeting client contract hours while minimizing unbilled overtime

• Direct Compliance and Security Operational Excellence: Oversee training, safety, and site operational standards as well as managing inventory (uniforms, equipment, and other essential supplies)

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company vehicle, or personal vehicle while conducting business
• Minimum of (5) years of experience in business operations, security management, or supervising teams in a fast‑paced environment
• Experience in leading, developing, and retaining a dynamic team while building positive client relationships
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness, physical security protocols, risk assessments, and law enforcement coordination
• Proven ability to evaluate situations, make sound independent decisions, and resolve conflicts in an efficient manner
• Proficiency in web‑based applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and employees while managing multiple projects and driving operational excellence
• Financial acumen; able to manage staffing levels while minimizing non‑billed overtime and managing turnover costs; planning and organizing skills to control costs related to inventory (uniforms, equipment, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

• College degree in Business Administration or a law enforcement‑related field
• Law enforcement, military, and/or contract or proprietary security services, or facility management experience
• American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS), International Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification
• Previous payroll, billing, or scheduling experience
• Aptitude with security systems: CCTV, access control, and badge administration
• Graduate of certified public safety academy (e.g., Law Enforcement, Firefighter/Paramedic, Corrections Officer)
