Job summary

St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. is hiring a Security Officer for our Tampa Regional Office. The role focuses on delivering reliable security services at assigned sites, patrolling interiors and exteriors, and reporting any incidents with detailed narratives.

The position requires a clean driving record, the ability to communicate effectively, and a strong customer-service approach. It is a full-time, multi-shift role with weekends, offering competitive pay of $17.45 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current or prior military experience, or college education in the security field desirable.
• Minimum 1-3 years of professional-level work experience preferred; security industry, law enforcement, military or customer service highly desired.
• Must possess a valid registration/permit/license; background checks and drug testing as required.
• Current state driver's license and clean driving record may be required, with ability to operate vehicle/golf cart/bicycle as assigned.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to write effective, concise, legible reports.
• Dependable, customer service oriented with professional interaction.

Responsibilities

• Execute security services as outlined in Post Order Manual and company guidelines.
• Conduct walking or vehicular patrols as assigned.
• Identify and report security threats or hazards and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain daily activity reports and incident reports with timely notifications.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures and participate in training.
