Job summary

Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC is seeking an Access Control Specialist to provide administrative security services, including obtaining security clearances for employees and visitors and arranging visit authorizations for restricted areas. Duties center on on-site security office operations.

The role involves badge creation, access management, email responses, coordination with agencies, incident response, and documentation through Excel spreadsheets to support security policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months of recent access control experience.
• Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes.

As the Access Control Specialist , you are responsible for providing administrative security services to the compound, such as obtaining security clearances on employees and visitors (needed to assist in arranging visit authorizations to gain access to restricted areas). Access Control Specialists are consistently engaged with customers over various security needs. Duties are performed in an industrial security office.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Creates and issues badges.
• Grants and removes access to restricted areas.
• Responds via email to customer’s questions and inquires.
• Coordinates with other agencies on various issues.
• Takes photos for various requirements.
• Performs conference coordination at customer request.
• Interacts with compound security on possible security issues to help develop security policies and/or procedures.

• Implements and maintains Excel spreadsheets.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Six (6) months of recent access control experience.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes).

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Active Top Secret SCI W/ CI Polygraph

Pay: $28 - $32 / Hour
