Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Day Shift Security professional to safeguard facilities and grounds in a fast-paced environment. You will monitor access, patrol premises, and respond to incidents to protect people and property.

Role requires standing, walking, and working outdoors/indoors across varying weather. Competitive benefits and an attendance bonus accompany a shift from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Sunday through Thursday, at $21.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience
• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred

• Secure the facilities and grounds during assigned hours.
• Make exterior and interior checks of the building(s) and grounds.
• Preserves order and enforces security regulations.

The core responsibilities of this role include: The Security Officer is responsible for protecting company property, employees, visitors, and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment. This role involves monitoring premises, enforcing security procedures, responding to incidents, and reporting suspicious activities.

-Position: Day Shift Security

-Shift: 8:00am - 4:00pm Sunday- Thursday

-Pay: $21.75 per hour

-Eligible for attendance bonus

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

• Customer Service
• Control access to facilities by verifying identification and visitor credentials.
• Prepare accurate daily activity and incident reports.
• Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized access.
• Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and security systems.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Capability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
